Scheduling: Lessons may be taken once a week or once every two weeks. I will also accommodate irregular schedules if I can fit you into my schedule.
Payment: All lessons must be paid in advance. Four lessons must be purchased on or before the forth lesson of a lesson cycle if you wish to continue. For new students, four lessons must be purchased at the end of the free intro lesson if you decide to take lessons. You shall be charged $20 plus applicable collection charges for all returned checks.
Timeliness: Please come to lessons on time. If you come to your lesson early, you may interrupt the student before you. If you come to a lesson late, you will reduce the time of your lesson. Lessons will not be extended if you are late. If you are going to be more than 15 minutes late for your lesson, call to let me know. Otherwise, I can't guarantee I will still be available to teach your lesson. And FYI, if you really want to know what time it is, visit time.gov.
Cancellation:
- Notification Of One Week Or More: If you give notification of one week or more, you may cancel or reschedule your lesson as you so choose without losing a lesson credit.
- Notification Of Less Than One Week: If you give notification of less than one week, your lesson becomes a make-up credit. You can schedule your make-up credit in addition to your regularly scheduled lesson OR add time to your regularly scheduled lesson. Your make-up credit cannot be used in place of a regularly scheduled lesson. Your make-up credit must be used within four weeks of the cancellation. Please note that I cannot guarantee that I will have an available time slot that will work for you, but I will do my best to find you a slot during my regular teaching hours.
- No Notification/No Show: If you do not give notification and do not show up for your lesson, you will lose credit for that lesson. Please let me know if you plan to continue with your lessons, or I will assume you do not plan to continue, and you will be removed from the schedule. You will also lose credit for all remaining lessons.
- Students With Irregularly Scheduled Lessons: After your lesson has been scheduled, you may reschedule your lesson one time. If you cannot attend your rescheduled lesson, you will lose credit for that lesson. There are no make-up credits. The No Notification/No Show policy applies.
Rescheduling: You may reschedule your lesson one time. If you cannot attend your rescheduled or make-up lesson, you will lose credit for that lesson.
Bad Weather: If the severe weather prompts school closures, you can cancel your lesson without creating a make-up credit. However, I will still be available to teach. So you must call to let me know you will not be attending your lesson to avoid losing credit for that lesson.
National Holidays: Lessons will be held on national holidays unless I inform you I will not be teaching that day. You are welcome to cancel your lesson per the cancellation policy.
Pausing/Discontinuing Lessons: Please give me as much notice as you can if you plan to pause/discontinue lessons. Two weeks or more is greatly appreciated.
Unused Lesson Credits: Unused lesson credits are non-refundable and will expire 6 months from the date of the last attended lesson.
Gift Certificate Expiration: Gift certificates will expire 1 year after the date issued.
